Best economical pick – Josh Hazlewood hogged the spotlight with his most recent performance against DC, scalping three wickets to emerge among the leading wicket-takers of the season.

Top captains & vice captains – Virat Kohli is the leading run-getter in this history of IPL with more than 8000 runs. He scored a half century in the previous match and will be a good captaincy pick for this match. Sam Curran is a talented all-rounder and scored 88 runs in the previous match. He will also bowl a few oves which makes him a good vice captaincy pick.

Smart pick – Noor Ahmad is a quality spinner and conditions will suit him and he will be a top pick against this opposition. He has picked up 15 wickets in ten matches this season.

Cautious Pick – Deepak Hooda has struggled significantly in IPL 2025, with scores of just 3, 4, and 0 in his last three matches and only one double-digit score (22 off 21 balls) so far, reflecting a poor run of form. Given his ongoing run drought and low strike rate this season, it would be prudent to avoid picking him in your fantasy team.
