Gujurat vs Mumbai on May 26

GT finished in first place in the points table this season with ten wins in 14 games. MI won eight out of 14 matches and are in fourth place in the points tally. In the last game, GT faced Chennai Super Kings, where they won the toss and elected to bowl. CSK made 172 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs with the help of an opening partnership of 87 runs between Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway. GT made a couple of changes to their batting order, but that didn't help them. Gill scored 42 runs off 38 deliveries and tried to help the team cross the line. In the end, GT could make only 157 runs in 20 overs and lost the game by 15 runs. MI faced Lucknow Super Giants in their previous outing, where they won the toss and elected to bat. The middle order did a great job for MI and helped them reach a total of 182 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. LSG could score only 101 runs in 16.3 overs before getting all out and lost the game by 81 runs. Akash Madhwal picked five wickets for five runs in 3.3 overs and won the Player of the Match award. In their IPL encounters thus far, GT and MI have crossed paths on three occasions. During the current season, they have met twice. In their most recent clash, GT emerged victorious against MI with a commanding 55-run margin, having posted a formidable total of 207 runs while losing six wickets in the process.

Best economical pick – In the last game against MI in Ahmedabad, Noor Ahmad delivered his best bowling figure as he picked up three wickets for 37 runs in four overs. He has so far taken 14 wickets in 11 games at an average of 22.64, an economy of 7.89, and a strike rate of 17.21.

Top captains & vice captains – Shubman Gill is in phenomenal form in the ongoing season. The 23-year-old has hit 722 runs in 15 matches so far and with that, he is currently second in the IPL Orange Cap race. He has scored a lot of runs in Ahmedabad and thus, he is expected to deliver again. Cameron Green has been in great form in the recent few games and made 41 runs off 23 deliveries in the last match. Green has so far made 422 runs in 15 innings at an average of 52.75 and a strike rate of 161.06.

Smart pick – Veteran India pacer Mohammed Shami is playing some brilliant cricket at the moment. In 15 matches so far, the 32-year-old has picked up 26 wickets and with that, he is currently leading the IPL Purple Cap race.

Cautious Pick – Dasun Shanaka has scored just 26 runs in three matches this season and might not be the right pick for your fantasy team.

My XI – Shubman Gill (Captain), Cameron Green (Vice-Captain), Noor Ahmed, Mohammed Shami, Ishan Kishan, Rashid Khan, Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, David Miller, Wridhiman Saha
